After graduating high school, I moved to Charleston to begin my college education at Charleston Southern University. I started with a major in Nursing and quickly discovered that was not for me and changed my major to education. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in psychology in May 2016. In the future I plan to get my National Board Certification and my Master's Degree in Special Education.

While this is only my second year being a teacher, I am not short on experience. In college, I spent several hours in the classroom of grades kindergarten - third grade observing, interacting, asking questions and of course learning. I did my student teaching at Spann Elementary School in Summerville, South Carolina. I have also spent many summers babysitting, working at a preschool, and teaching Vacation Bible School at my church. Children have always been a passion on mine, since I was a little girl. Now as a teacher, my dream of working with children every day has come true.

Hi! My name is Miss Miranda Gabella! I am 25 years young! I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher for the 2017 – 2018 school year. This is my second year teaching and I am very excited to be teaching at the school I once attended! I am very excited to start this year and I know it is going to be the best year ever! I grew up outside of Hemingway with parents (Joey and Doremi Gabella) and my older sister (Kristina G. Brooks). I attended Deep Creek Elementary school until it turned into Pleasant Hill Elementary School. I moved to Johnsonville Elementary School in the 4th grade and graduated from Johnsonville High School in 2011. I enjoy all things Disney related, traveling to new places and cooking delicious food.
